Since it started in 2009, the IR Review has grown from 8 to 72 pages, reviewing twice as many submissions this year alone. We are affiliated with the Pardee School of Global Studies which houses one of the largest programs in Boston University, and the BU International Affairs Association, which is the biggest student group on campus. With copies across campus in key locations and schools, an advertisement in the IR Review will connect you with students and faculty across Boston University.
The IR Review is a staple of the ever-expanding globally minded population at Boston University and beyond. With an advertisement in the IR Review, you will reach a base of 1,200 international relations students in addition to a prestigious faculty of diplomatic servants, economists, activists, and other experts. Whether they read or submit, these students contribute an array of knowledge and a shared global outreach.
The IR Review has a circulation of 1,000 copies. Copies are distributed to serval departments at Boston University including International Relations, Journalism, Economics, Environmental Studies, Political Science, and Anthropology in addition to student hubs such as the George Sherman Union, Warren Towers, Student Village, the College of Arts and Sciences, and the Yawkey Center for Student Services.Logistics
The precise deadline for ads will change each semester, but will generally coincide with our submission deadline in late October and late February each year. Payments should be made within two weeks after the ad deadline unless another deal is arranged. If you purchase an ad, you will receive copies of the IR Review after publication for your own distribution.
